If you want the protection of leather without all the heat, this is the jacket for you. Plenty of armor in the back, shoulders and elbows. The elbows are a bit bulky, but that's only noticeable when you're not riding. The perforated leather allows wind to pass through to keep you cool while in motion. The zip-out liner makes this a good fall jacket, but the liner only covers your body, not your arms. You'll want solid leather for cold weather.
