I tried a couple of different home remedies for cleaning brass and was never quite satisfied. Then my kids bought me a Hornady sonic cleaner and a jug of this. What a difference. My home remedies would work on the outside but usually did very little for the inside, but this is different. This stuff is even making the older brass start to shine on the inside. I'm sure the sonic cleaner is a big part of that too, but this stuff is good. It seems expensive (and is I guess) but 1/2 to 1 oz cleans up quite a bit of brass. Not necessary, but I also drop them in the tumbler for 1/2 - 1 hour just to get that polish feel to them - and I think the press likes it better that way too for the pistol brass.
